Soap & Glory Glow Job

Since my skin has miraculously turned a corner and no longer resembles a hormonal volcanic mess I've been keen to find a lighter, alternative base to my Rimmel Match Perfection foundation that I usually use on a day to day basis. I'm not actually a huge fan of foundations if I'm honest, I find them way too heavy and I feel like they wash me out, I much prefer showing off a few freckles and letting my natural skin tone shine through a little. I'm also incredibly lazy and would much rather a product that will give me all I need but will require way less attention and effort.

This is where Soap and Glory's Glow Job nicely comes in.

-Winner of the award for the best named drugstore product-

I came across this when searching for a tinted moisturiser on the Boots website and only really clicked on it due to the amount of 5* reviews it had received. It's named as a moisture lotion so not really a tinted moisturiser but when I saw that it had tiny little tanning beads in it which apparently make you glow like a bronzed goddess I quickly got to work and hunted down every blog post review I could find.

I was a tad concerned that it would be a bit dark for me seeing as I am a natural redhead, I'm not super pale though, I mean I still resemble a milk bottle but I have a slight warmer tone to my skin than other redheads so I guess that's something to bear in mind. When first applied it looked hideously orange for me but when I had properly rubbed it in and let it settle for a few seconds it looked far more natural and actually not too dark at all.  I also tan my body so I do like a bit more of a warmer tone to my face which is probably why I like this so much.

It gives me a slight bronzed glow, meaning I just look a bit more awake and healthier than normal, the coverage is barely there if I'm honest so I usually still wear a concealer on my nose, under my eyes and around my scars but overall it makes my makeup less face much better to look at.

Along with a decent concealer (I use Rimmel's wake me up) you can achieve a really gorgeous healthy glowing base.

I am pretty much in love with it.

Boots also currently have a buy one get one half price on Soap and Glory atm so get in quick!
